Classical vs Complex

Many forms of homoeopathy

  • over the years there have been many developments and deviations to Hahnemann's homoeopathy.
  • some of these have strengthened the science, where as others have divided it.
  • these different forms differ widely in their practice and therapeutic value.
  • one of the biggest difference occurs between classical and complex homoeopathy.

Classical Homoeopathy

  • classical homoeopathy refers to the use of a single remedy, in a single dose, using the minimum dose.
  • in this way, any effect of that remedy can clearly be seen.

Complex Homoeopathy

  • complex homoeopathy is using mixtures of remedies in the likelihood that one or two will have an effect.
  • the dose is often repeated
  • this may result in the symptoms disappearing but the case becomes confused and is difficult to treat thereafter.
  • there is also a danger that an incorrect remedy could cause a severe aggravation.

Classical Homoeopathy despite its beautifully elegant theory, is very difficult to practice.

It takes determination and many years of study and experience to be able to treat people successfully.

If treatment is not succeeding for you, do not give up on Homoeopathy, try a different homoeopath.

Drop one stone in a pond and create a clear pattern.

Drop 5 stones and you create a confused pattern
