What happens
during a consultation?
-
initial consultations last between
1-11/2 hours (babies and children are usually
shorter)
-
this gives a person time
to tell me about their problems and how they are affected by them.
-
I take great care to find symptoms
peculiar to you.
-
homoeopathic
consultation differs from a conventional one in that the patient
is likely to do most of the talking!
What happens
next?
-
I study your case to find the most
appropriate remedy
-
sometimes this takes time in which case I will
post it to you within a week.
-
If I need to refer you to another
specialist (GP, nutritionist, osteopath ect) I will do so.
-
I offer lifestyle advice especially
concerning diet and exercise.
-
we discuss an appropriate time for a follow up
consultation.
Subsequent consultations
-
enables assessment and adjustment of
your treatment
-
usually occur 4-6 weeks after the
previous consultation.
-
are shorter but the process is the same
as the initial consultation.
How much treatment will I need?
-
for simple acute conditions, one or two
prescriptions are usually sufficient.
-
most people however, come with deeper, more
chronic disease which requires more treatment and
careful management. Even in these cases however
improvement should be visible after a couple of
treatments.
How much does it cost?
This cost includes any remedies prescribed.
